V úvodu se věnuje státním zakázkám na výstavbu veřejných budov v Československu. Tři monografické medailony představují důležité osobnosti české neoklasicistní scény ? Antonína Engela, Bohumila Hübschmanna a Bedřicha Feuersteina ? a jejich názory na umění a architekturu. Druhá část se zaměřuje na teorické základy tehdejší klasické tradice ve Francii a zkoumá ohlas díla jejích hlavních představitelů v Československu. Práci ukončuje komparace obou prostředí.. -- Abstrakt: Diploma thesis depicts the theoretical discussion between the protagonists of neoclassicist architecture in Czechoslovakia and in France. In its introduction the thesis deals with the state commissions for public buildings in Czechoslovakia between 1918 and 1940. Three monographic entries further present important architects of the Czech neoclassical scene - Antonín Engel, Bohumil Hübschmann and Bedřich Feuerstein - and their theoretical ideas on arts and architecture. The second part is focused on essentials of the contemporary classical tradition theory in France and the reception of its main representatives in Czechoslovakia. The thesis closes with the comparison of the two cultural milieus.
