Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou resuscitace novorozence z pohledu sestry, porodní asistentky. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na patofyziologii asfyxie, přípravu na resuscitaci, návod, jak používat resuscitační pomůcky a podrobný popis jednotlivých kroků celého resuscitačního postupu. V praktické části jsou předloženy výsledky anonymního výzkumného šetření prováděného u všeobecných a sester a porodních asistentek, pracujících na novorozeneckých odděleních v rámci třístupňové regionální péče o těhotnou a novorozence. Součástí praktického oddílu je i návrh výukového materiálu pro ošetřovatelské profesionály pečující o novorozence. Jen zdravotnický profesionál, který je kompletně (teoreticky i prakticky) vyškolený v resuscitaci novorozence může novorozence ošetřovat a pečovat o něj.The bachelor paper deals with the issue of the newborn resuscitation as viewed by midwife. The theoretical part is aimed at the pathophysiology of asphyxia, the preparation for resuscitation, instructions on how to use resuscitation tools, followed by a detailed description of the particular steps in the whole resuscitation process. The practical part involve the results of the anonymous investigation carried out among general nurses and midwifes working at nursing departments within three-level regional care of pregnant females and newborns. Moreover, the practical part includes the educational material for nursing professionals providing care in newborns. I believe that the care of newborns can be provided only by such health care professionals who are completely (i.e. theoretically and practically) trained in resuscitation of newborns.
