Výzkum analyzuje články otištěné v denících Právo, MF Dnes a Lidové noviny v kalendářním roce 2007. Vychází z teorie médií a diskurzu v pojetí Michaela Foucaulta. Výzkum kvantitativní textovou analýzou rozšiřuje šetření zaměřená na analýzu tisku ve vztahu k Vietnamcům. Pomocí diskurzivní analýzy ve statistickém programu Hamlet II výzkum odhaluje diskurz tisku ve vztahu k objektu médií, tj. k Vietnamcům. Zjišťuje, jak a v jakých kontextech píše tisk o Vietnamcích v ČR, která témata se nejčastěji objevují a která absentují. Výsledky analýzy ukazují, že tisk prezentuje Vietnamce v souvislosti s kriminalitou, podnikáním ve vietnamských tržnicích a migrací.The research analyses articles published in these newspapers: Pravo, MF Dnes and Lidove noviny from year 2007. They are based on theory of the Medias as well as the discourse introduced by Michael Foucault. The Quantitative Textual Analysis research helps to save on the press analysis related to the Vietnamese. Thanks to the discourse analysis in the statistic`s program of Hamlet II, the research reveals the textual discourse in relation to the very object of medias such as Vietnamese. This determines how or in which context the press talks about the Vietnamese in Czech Republic and also which topics are the most frequent or on the contrary which aren't. The results of this analysis prove, that the press presents the Vietnamese as related to the crime, migration and also doing business in Vietnamese markets.
