Diplomová práce se zabývá jazykovou problematikou ve třech španělských autonomních společenstvích - v Katalánsku, ve Valencii a na Baleárských ostrovech, především na Mallorce. Součástí práce jsou kapitoly o historii a literatuře těchto oblastí. Dále se práce zabývá současným postavením valencijštiny a mallorštiny ve španělské Ústavě a dalších zákonech a zkoumá jazykový konflikt mezi Valencií a Katalánskem a Baleáry (Mallorkou) a Katalánskem.The thesis deals with the linguistic situation of three Spanish autonomic communities - in Catalunya, Valencia and the Balears. In the thesis there are chapters dealing with the history and literature of these communities, there is also a chapter dealing with the contemporary position of Valencian and Balear (Mallorquin) in the Spanish Constitution and other laws and examines the linguistic conflict between Valencia and Catalunya and the Balears and Catalunya.
