Cílem diplomové práce je přiblížit dětské pojetí smrti skrz dětskou kresbu. V teoretické části práce je představen vývoj mladšího školního dítěte, dětská kresba a vícero pojetí smrti, které děti mohou vykazovat. Zařazeny jsou také odborné rady, které pojednávají o tom, jak s dítětem o smrti mluvit. V praktické části diplomové práce je popsána metodologie výzkumu. Připojeny jsou kazuistiky s dětskou kresbou na téma "život" a "smrt". V závěru práce jsou prezentovány výsledky výzkumu a podněty pro navazující výzkum.The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe a child's concept of death through children's drawings. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the development of the primary school learners, children's drawings and various concepts of death shown by the learners. It also covers expert guidance about how to talk with children about death. The practical part of the thesis describes the research methodology. It includes case histories with children's drawings on the topic of "life" and "death". The conclusion od the thesis presents the research results and the suggestions for the follow-up research.
