(140 155 znaků) : il., mapy, tab. + 1 CD. -- Ved. práce Daniel Esparza. -- Oponent Iveta Nakládalová. -- Abstrakt: El objetivo de mi tesis era crear una selección de los elementos que describen la isla de Tenerife, su población, tradiciones, infraestructura, ciudades, negocios, naturaleza, cultivos e historia, dentro del diario de viajes llamado Excursiones y estudios en las Islas Canarias escrito por el autor inglés Charles Edwardes durante 1888. También decidí abarcar este relato dentro de su género apropiado - diario de viajes y su conexión con los diarios en general. La investigación se basó en buscar, separar y recopilar las diferentes categorías que acabo de mencionar anteriormente. Para responder tuve que centrarme en varios pasos, dividiéndolos en capítulos. El primero fue sobre el diario como un concepto, basado en artículos científicos. En el segundo capítulo traté el tema de los diarios de viaje. Estos dos capítulos me sirvieron para estudiar los límites teóricos del diario de viaje que he estudiado. En el tercero capítulo estudié la situación de Espa?a y las Islas Canarias relacionados con el creciente turismo durante el siglo XIX. El cuarto capítulo está dedicado al autor y su cultura. En el quinto, presento el libro para su posterior estudio en el sexto capítulo.. -- Abstrakt: The mail goal of my thesis was to create a sellection of the elements that describe the Tenerife island, its pupulation, traditions, infrastructure, cities, businesses, nature, crops and history, within the travel journal Excursiones y estudios en las Islas Canarias written by english author Charles Edwardes during 1888. I also decided to anchor this work among its proper genre of travel journal, including its connection with the diaries in general. The investigation was based on seek out, separate and collect the different categories that I´ve just mentioned above. For the succesfull way to find out and answer these questiones I had to focuse myself on various steps, dividing them in chapters. Thi first one was about the diary as a concept, based on a scientific articles. In the second chapter I choose to treat the theme of travel journals. These two chapters served me to further definition of the particular travel journal that I´ve studied. In the third I studied the situation of Spain and Canary Islands related to the upgrowing turism during the XIX century. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the author and his culture. In the fifth, I introduce the book for it´s further study in the sixt chapter.
