Cílem bakalářské práce je shrnutí informací o vegetativním stavu. První část práce popisuje terminologii, diagnózu, příčiny a prognózu tohoto klinického stavu. Dále se zabývá neuroplasticitou. Tato schopnost nervového systému přináší nové možnosti léčby pacientů po poškození mozku. Poslední část je věnována rehabilitaci pacientů ve vegetativním stavu. Mezi nejčastěji používané fyzioterapeutické intervence patří polohování, mobilizace, vertikalizace a metody založené na neurofyziologickém podkladě. Pro bakalářskou práci bylo použito celkem 47 zdrojů. Na základě klíčových slov: vegetativní stav, poruchy vědomí, minimální stav vědomí, zranění mozku, neurální plasticita, rehabilitace, fyzioterapie, bylo v databázi PubMed nalezeno 35 studií. Výsledky studií prokázaly pozitivní účinky těchto metod na funkční postižení pacienta.The aim of the bachelor thesis is to summarize information about vegetative state. The first part of this work describes terminology, diagnosis, causes and prognosis of this clinical condition. Further it deals with neuroplasticity. The ability of the nervous system brings new possibilities in the treatment of patients after brain damage. The last section is about rehabilitation of patients in the vegetative state. The most commonly used physiotherapeutic interventions include positioning, mobilization, verticalization and methods based on neurophysiology. A total of 47 sources were used for the bachelor thesis. Keywords such as: vegetative state, disorders of consciousness, minimally conscious state, brain injury, neural plasticity, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, 35 studies were found in the PubMed database. The results of studies have shown the positive effects of these methods on the patient's functional disability.
