Diplomová práce, jejímž tématem je sociální reprezentace dobrovolnictví, se zabývá vymezením pojmu dobrovolnictví, jeho znaky a druhy. Dále potom tím kdo je dobrovolník, jaká je jejich činnost, motivace a přínos. Další kapitoly se zabývají historii dobrovolnictví, zákonem o dobrovolnictví, etickým kodexem dobrovolnictví, oblasti dobrovolnictví a dobrovolnictví v zahraničí nechybí také seznámení se sociální reprezentací s její historií, s tím jak sociální reprezentace vznikají, jaké jsou její struktury, druhy, funkce, výzkumy sociálních reprezentací a o sociální reprezentaci dobrovolnictví v České republice. Na konci se diplomová práce zabývá výzkumem, jak veřejnost vnímá dobrovolnictví.The thesis focused on Social Representation of Volunteering deals with the definition of volunteering, its characteristics and kinds. The definition of a volunteer, their activity, motivation and contribution are also discussed. Following chapters deal with the history of volunteering, Law on Volunteering, code of ethics, and different areas of volunteering. The thesis further discusses history of social representation, the way of its creation, its structures, kinds, functions, but also social representation of volunteering in the Czech Republic. The final part discusses research of social representation of volunteering, that is, how volunteering is perceived by the public.
