Porušení funkcí jemné motoriky v seniorském věku znamená pro jedince značné snížení kvality života. Cílem této studie je zjistit úroveň bimanuální koordinace a jemné motoriky ruky u seniorské populace a porovnat intersexuální rozdíly mezi seniorkami a seniory. Ve studii je zjišťován také vliv exogenních faktorů na provedení. Prostředkem pro testování je Vienna test system (VTS) koordinace rukou byla testována 2hand testem (forma S3) a jemná motorika byla testována MLS testem (forma S2, 8 subtestů steadiness, line tracking, aiming, tapping). Účastníky studie tvořilo celkem 86 posluchačů U3V UP v Olomouci, z toho 56 seniorek (57-74 let) a 30 seniorů (60-72 let), kteří splnili kritéria pro zařazení do studie. Výsledky 2hand testu ukázaly signifikantní rozdíl mezi seniorkami a seniory z hlediska celkové doby provádění testu. Výsledky MLS-testu ukázaly, že v testech steadiness a line tracking byly nalezeny významné rozdíly v počtu chyb pravé i levé ruky mezi seniorkami a seniory. Rovněž v testu tapping byly nalezeny signifikantní rozdíly v počtu zásahů pravou i levou rukou mezi seniorkami a seniory. U většiny testů nebyl prokázán vliv exogenních faktorů.Damaging the functions of fine motor skills in senior age brings individuals considerable decline in the quality of life. The aim of this study is to find out the level of bimanual coordination and fine motor skills of the hands with senior population and compare intersexual differences between senior women and men. The study also looked into the influence of exogenous factors on the results. Testing was carried out using the Vienna Test System (VTS) hand coordination was tested using the 2hand test (form S3) and fine motor skills were tested using the Motor Performance Series (MLS) test (form S2, 8 subtests steadiness, line tracking, aiming and tapping). There were 86 students of Uni-versity of the Third Age at Palacký University (U3V UP) in Olomouc participating in the study, out of which there were 56 senior women (57-74 years) and 30 senior men (60-72 years) who met the criteria to be included in the study. The results of the 2hand test showed a significant difference between senior women and men from the perspec-tive of the overall testing time. The MLS-test results showed that significant differences in the number of mistakes both of the right and left hand were found between senior women and men in the steadiness and line tracking tests and the same applied for the tapping test where significant differences in the number of hits by the right as well as left hand were found between senior women and men. The influence of exogenous fac-tors on the results was not proved in most tests.
