Tématem této práce jsou Letní olympijské hry (Sportovní terminologie). Práce je složena z pěti kapitol. V první kapitole je popsána historie olympijských her všeobecně, jejich znovuobnovení, olympijská symbolika a ceremoniály, dále jsou charakterizovány zimní olympijské hry. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na otázku financování olympijských her. Následující kapitola popisuje letní olympijské hry, první LOH a moskevskou olympiádu. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována vymezení slov termín a terminologie, překladovým transformacím a přejímáním cizích názvů. Poslední kapitola obsahuje konkrétní sportovní disciplíny a způsoby jejich překladu do českého a ruského jazyka.Subject of the bachelor´s thesis is the Summer Olympic Games (Sports terminology). The thesis is composed of five chapters. The first chapter describes the history of the Olympic Games in general, renewal of the Olympics, the Olympic symbols and traditions and the origin of the Winter Olympic Games. The second chapter is devoted to financial question of the Olympic Games. Next chapter describes the Summer Olympic Games, the first Summer Olympic Games and the Olympics in Moscow. The following chapter focused on definition of term and terminology, translation transformations and adopti on foreign words. The last chapter describes the concrete Olympic sports and possible ways of their translation to Czech and Russian language.
