Předkládaná práce se zabývá procesem socializace dítěte školního věku v prostředí školy a jeho vlivem na sociální a emocionální zdraví dítěte. Teoretická část definuje socializaci s důrazem na aktivní účast dítěte v tomto celoživotním procesu, dále usiluje o zachycení typických rysů školní socializace a o popis významu a funkce školy při socializaci dítěte. Empirické šetření mapuje emocionální a sociální zdraví žáků a vychází z myšlenky, že děti s vysokou mírou sociální a emoční pohody / zdraví lépe zvládají fyzické, duševní i sociální problémy během dětství a dospívání. Získané poznatky umožňují lépe poznat nejen školní prostředí jako prostředek socializace, ale i citové a emocionální prožívání školních dětí a mládeže na úrovni sociálních vazeb.The main focus of the submitted thesis is the process of the socialisation of a child at a school age in a school environment. The other koncern of this paper is the effect of this process on the child'ssocial and emotional health. In thetheoretical part of this thesis "socialisation" is defined putting an emphasis on the child's aktive participation in this life-long process. Further there is an endeavour to categorize typice characteristics of socialisationat school as well as to describe the meaningand signifikance of "school" during the socialisation of a child. The aim of the empirical study is to map the social and emotional health of students based on a premise that children with high degrese of social and emotional stability fare better with physical, spiritual and social problems during theirchildhood and adolescence. Thanks to the findings it is possible to not only get a better understanding of the school environment as a means of socialisation but also to better comprehend theemotional experiences of school kids and teenagers at a level of social relations.
