Diplomová práce se věnuje otázce mnišství v jeho historickém přehledu se zaměřením na Opatství Nový Dvůr. Odkaz mnišství je zde aktualizován a dán do souvislosti s duchovním životem křesťanů. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá všeobecnou historií mnišství a jeho charakteristickými znaky. Dále Řeholí sv. Benedikta jako duchovní naukou o mnišství. Zprostředkovává praktické pokyny pro život v komunitě a duchovní vedení bratří. Cisterciáci ji považují za nejdůležitější pramen a návod pro svůj život. Kapitola dále popisuje vytvoření řádu trapistů a jeho historií. V druhé kapitole je popisována tvorba skupiny mnichů, která přichází z Francie, z trapistického kláštera v Sept-Fons a hledá místo a pro stavbu prvního trapistického kláštera v Čechách. Zajímavou částí této kapitoly je popis manuální práce mnichů a výroba bioproduktů. Tématem třetí kapitoly je pak zpracování teologického poslání řádu, spirituální forma života, kontemplace, rozměr modlitby, vztah ke světu, přínos řádu a jeho místo v církvi. Rozvíjí myšlenky metafyzického a transcendentního zaměření modlitby a její mystický rozměr, viditelný celou křesťanskou civilizaci. Objasňuje moudrost Řehole sv. Benedikta, která prověřila již mnoho generací mnichů a je smysluplná i pro generace budoucí.This thesis deals with the issue of monasticism in its historical overview with a focus on Nový dvůr Abbey. Legacy of monasticism is here updated and put into relation to the spiritual life of Christians. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the general history of monasticism and its characteristic features. In addition, the Rule of St. Benedict as a spiritual doctrine of monasticism. It mediates practical guidelines for community life and spiritual guidance brethren. Cistercians consider it as the most important source and guidance for your life. As next, the chapter describes a Trappist order establishment and its history. The second chapter describes a group formation of monks who came from France, from a Trappist monastery in Sept-Fons and were looking for a place to build the first Trappist monastery in Bohemia. An interesting part of this chapter is a description of manual labor of monks and the production of bio-products. The theme of the third chapter is the processing of theological mission order, spiritual form of life, contemplation, extent of prayer, relationship to the world, the contribution of order and its place in the Church. It develops ideas of transcendent and metaphysical orientation of prayer and its mystical dimension visible to the whole Christian civilization. It clarifies the wisdom of the Rule of St. Benedict, which has already examined many generations of monks and is also meaningful for future generations.
