Text bakalářské diplomové je rozdělen do dvou částí. První část práce je zaměřena na vymezení pojmu bajka, její historický a literární vývoj především v antice a českém středověku. Práce zpracovává teoretické poznatky o vývoji fabulistiky. Dále zpracovává obecné poznatky o hlavních autorech antické a české středověké fabulistiky. Praktická část obsahuje překlad 30 bajek z pozdně římské sbírky Romulus anonymního autora. Latinské texty jsme čerpaly z přepracování Hermanna Österleye Steinhövels Äsop z roku 1873.This Bachelor?s Thesis is divided into two parts. The first part of the study is focused on definition of the term 'fable', its historical and literary development especially in ancient times and the Middle Ages in Bohemia. The study analyzes the theoretical findings in the the development of study of fables. Furthermore, it examines the general knowledge about the leading fabulists from the ancient world and the Middle Ages in Bohemia. The practical part of the Thesis contains a translation of 30 fables of an anonymous author from the collection 'Romulus' which comes from the late Roman period. As a source of the Latin texts we used the revised work of Hermann Österleye Steinhövels Äsop from 1873.
