Práce se zabývá vývojem a uplatňováním politiky apartheidu na území jižní Afriky. Popisuje historické pozadí jeho vzniku, poválečné zavádění apartheidu a jeho důsledky pro černošskou populaci. Prostor je věnován postoji mezinárodního společenství k rasové politice v Jihoafrické republice. Závěrečná část vymezuje hlavní hospodářské, sociální a politické problémy po zrušení apartheidu.My thesis deals with the development and enforcement of the politics of apartheid in South Africa. It oves a description of the historici background of the origin of apartheid, its poster introduction and its consequences for the Black population. It also oves an account of the international societies attitudes towards racial politics in The Republic of South Africa. The last section of my thesis delikates general economic, social and political issues after the abolition of apartheid.
