Cílem této bakalářské práce je prostřednictvím rešerše odborných publikovaných článků předložit nejnovější poznatky o kontrastních látkách užívaných v radiologii. Ve své práci se zabývám kontrastními látkami z hlediska jejich historického vývoje od zavedení do klinické praxe až po jejich současné využití v diagnostice. Do práce je též zahrnuto dělení kontrastních látek, jejich specifikace, kontraindikace a nežádoucí účinky spojené s jejich užitím.The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present the most recent knowledges on the contrast agents used in radiology. The method of research for acquiring the necessary informations, was the reviewing of relevant published articles by the experts in radiology and diagnostic imaging. In my bachelor thesis I deal with contrast agents in terms of historical development since their introduction into a clinical practise to their current use in diagnostic. In the thesis is also included dividing of contrast agents, their specifications, contraindications and side effects associated with their use.
