Diplomová práca sa zaoberá antropogénnym ovplyvnením reliéfu geomorfologického celku Považské podolie. Práca na základe štúdia historických prameňov, regionálnej a odbornej literatúry, a vlastného terénneho prieskumu danej oblasti hodnotí vplyv ťažby nerastných surovín, vodohospodárskych a dopravných antropogénnych procesov na reliéf záujmového územia. Súčasťou práce je aj detailná inventarizácia vybraných antropogénnych tvarov reliéfu. Časť práce je zameraná na súčasné antropogénne procesy prebiehajúce v záujmovom území, konkrétne modernizáciu železničnej trate. Výsledky práce sú znázornené na mapových výstupoch, ktoré prehľadne znázorňujú inventarizované tvary reliéfu v záujmovom území a hlavné etapy antropogénneho ovplyvnenia reliéfu Považského podolia.The thesis deals with anthropogenic affects on the relief of the geomorphological unit Považské podolie. It, on the basis of studying historical sources, regional and professional literature and my own research in the given area, evaluates the impact of mining of minerals, water management and transportation anthropogenic processes on the relief of the area of interest. A piece of the thesis is a detailed characteristic of the chosen anthropogenic profiles of the relief. A part of the thesis is focused on the current anthropogenic processes going on in the area of interest, in particular, the modernization of the railway. The outputs of the thesis are illustrated in the maps, which clearly show the characteristics profiles of the relief in the area of interest and the main stages of the anthropogenic influence on the relief of the geomorphological unit Považské podolie.
