Práce se zabývá celým procesem odebírání dítěte z rodiny, počínaje práce s ohroženou rodinou, přes rozhodování o vhodnosti řešení a následnou odpovědnost sociálního pracovníka za takové rozhodnutí. Seznamuje čtenáře zběžně s postupem soudů při opatrovnických řízeních. Pojednává rovněž o možnostech následné péče v České republice pro děti, které museli být odebrány svým rodičům.My thesis deals with the whole process of taking a child away from the family. This process goes from the work with the endangered family, through the decision making about the possible solutions to the following social worker's responsibility for this kind of decision. The thesis makes readers acquainted with the legal action during the custodial proceedings. It also deals with the possibilities of the following care in the Czech Republic for the children who had to be taken away from their parents.
