Témou bakalárskej práce sú činnosti a kompetencie triedneho učiteľa v súčasnej škole. Práca je členená na teoretickú a praktickú časť. V jej teoretickej časti sú definované pedagogické a sociálne kompetencie a činnosť triedneho učiteľa. Praktická časť práce analyzuje sebareflexiu samotných triednych učiteľov. Vychádza z výskumu dotazníkovou metódou a je zameraná na funkciu triedneho učiteľa, jeho význam a činnosti. Dotazník bol vytvorený autorom pre túto prácu a je zložený zo 16 uzavretých otázok na základe požiadaviek triednych učiteľov. Hlavným cieľom výskumu bolo zistiť akými edukačnými otázkami sa triedny učiteľ prevažne zaoberá, určiť subjekty spolupráce na riešení jednotlivých problémov, náročnosť funkcie triedneho učiteľa, zistiť podmienky pre jej vykonávanie a špecifíká komunikácie triednych učiteľov so žiakmi a ich rodičmi a poukázať na význam funkcie triedneho učiteľa.The theme of the thesis is activities and competence of the classroom teacher in the current educational system. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The educational and social competences are defined in the theoretical part. Practical part analyses the self-reflection of a classroom teachers. The result is based on the research using a questionnaire method and it scopes to the function, merit and activities of the classroom teacher. Questionnaire was built by the author of the thesis and it consists of sixteen closed questions based on the requirements of the classroom teachers. The main objective of the research was to find out the educational issues that the teacher mainly deals with to define the possible subjects of the future cooperation, to find the solutions to the actual problems, severity of the role of teacher, to find the conditions for implementation and to specify the communication between teachers, pupils and their parents and to highlight the importance of the classroom teacher occupation.
