Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou péče o rodičku s mrtvým plodem. Teoretická část popisuje diagnosu mrtvého plodu, příčiny, které mohou vést k této diagnóze, prevenci, ošetřovatelskou péči, rituál rozloučení a truchlení. Pojednává o stresu a smutku, který prožívá rodička s partnerem, ale i ošetřující personál. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda jsou porodní asistentky dobrými doprovázejícími v této náročné situaci, do jaké míry je pro ně role průvodce stresující, jak se samy se stresem vyrovnávají. Zajímalo nás, zda by samy porodní asistentky potřebovaly pomoc psychologa nebo krizového pracovníka. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit, zda je rodičkám s mrtvým plodem poskytnuta možnost rituálu rozloučení a jakým způsobem. Chtěli jsme znát úroveň informovanosti rodičů o nutnosti pohřbení mrtvorozeného dítěte a kdo tyto informace podává.This graduation thesis concerns with the management of care about the mother with dead fetus. The theoretical part describes the diagnostics of dead fetus, causes that may lead to this diagnosis, its prevention, nursing care, ritual of parting and mourning. It deals with the stress and grieve that is experienced by the mother herself with her partner, but also the nursing staff. The aim of this thesis was to learn whether the midwives were the right company in this uneasy situation, till which extent this role was stressful, how they coped with the stress. And if they themselves needed the care of psychologist or any other crisis worker. The other aim was to discover whether the mothers with dead fetus are provided the possibility of parting and if so, in which ways, also what is the informedness of the parents about the necessity of baby´s burial and who is in charge to provide this information.
