Cílem předkládané bakalářské práce je analýza vývoje vztahů mezi Chorvatskem a Evropskou unií s ohledem na problematické body přístupových jednání. Přesto, že se v průběhu jednání objevilo několik sporných oblastí, tak v práci jsou reflektovány pouze ty, které do přístupových rozhovorů zasáhly nejvíce. Tyto oblasti jsou také zřejmě důvodem, proč Chorvatsko stále není členem EU. V práci jsou tedy analyzovány následující body: spolupráce Chorvatska s ICTY, hraniční spor mezi Chorvatskem a Slovinskem, problematika národnostních menšin, nedostatečně fungující soudní systém a korupce. Jednotlivé kapitoly nám tedy postupně objasňují, zda problematické body byly důvodem, který ovlivnil rychlost a výsledek přístupových jednání.The aim of this thesis is an analysis of relations between Croatia and the The aim of this thesis is an analysis of relations between Croatia and the European Union with regard to the problematic issues of accession negotiations. Despite, that during the negotiations were few problematic areas,at work are reflected only problems, which accession talks most influenced. These areas are probably the reason why Croatia is still not an EU member. In this work are therefore analyzed the following items: cooperation of Croatia with the ICTY, the border dispute between Croatia and Slovenia, the issue of ethnic minorities, lack of a functioning judicial system and corruption. The following chapters could explain, that problematic issues were the reasons, which influenced the speed and outcome of accession negotiations.
