Tato práce se zabývá popsáním obrazu koně v hispánské Americe, vývojem začlenění koně do tamních podmínek, přijetím koně domorodým obyvatelstvem a soužitím koně s obyvateli jihoamerického kontinentu. Dále pojednává o koni v gaučovské kultuře, to vše z velké části na základě obrazu koně v literatuře hispánské Ameriky.This thesis deals with the description of the portrait of the horse in Hispanic America, the evolution of the integration of the horse into local conditions, the adoption of the horse by the indigenous population and the everyday life of the horse with the inhabitants of the South American continent. It also studies the role of the horse in the gaucho culture. A large part of our analysis is based on the portrait of the horse in Hispanic American literature.
