Tématem této práce je komentovaný překlad povídky ?Výběrčí? brazilského spisovatele Rubema Fonsecy. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část přináší stručný životopis autora, věnuje se některým jeho nejdůležitějším dílům včetně zmínky o jeho charakteristickém stylu a končí analýzou překládané povídky. Druhou část práce tvoří samotný překlad této povídky z brazilské portugalštiny do češtiny. Třetí a závěrečná část se zabývá komentováním překladu nejproblematičtějších částí textu s důrazem na nepřímou úměrnost mezi zachováním exotičnosti originálu a srozumitelností překladu.The theme of this thesis is the commented translation of the story ?Taker?, which was written by a Brazilian author Rubem Fonseca. The thesis is divided into three thematic parts. The first one presents a brief biography of this author, some notes about his most famous pieces of writing including some remarks on his style, followed by a literary analysis of the story ?Taker?. The next part of this work is the translation of this story from Brazilian Portuguese to Czech. The third and last part is a commentary of the most problematic issues within the process of this translation with a focus on the regulation of the level of exotisms of the original text.
