Práce se zabývá mužskou rolí v duchovním životě současné rodiny. V první části vymezuje pojem rodina a sleduje její vývoj ve Starém a Novém zákoně. Popisuje současnou rodinu a její proměny. Druhá část se zabývá duchovním životem křesťanské rodiny a její účastí na životě církve. Třetí část si všímá pojmu muž, otec, otcovství. Dále popisuje roli otce v rodině, typy otcovských stylů, vztahy mezi otcem a dcerou, otcovství Boží a lidské. Připomíná postavu svatého Josefa. Čtvrtá část je tvořena dotazníkovým šetřením a zpracováním výsledků výzkumu, zaměřeného na otce a jeho podíl na duchovním životě rodiny.The work deals with the male role in the spiritual life of contemporary family. The first part defines the concept of family and monitors its development in the Old and New Testaments. It describes the current family and its changes. The second part deals with the spiritual life of the Christian family and its participation in the life of the Church. The third part focuses on the concept of man, father, fatherhood. It also describes the role of father in the family, father types of styles, the relationship between father and daughter, fatherhood of God and human. It reminds the character of Saint Joseph. The fourth part consists of a questionare and processing of the results of research aimed at father and his share in the spiritual life of the family.
