Téma práce je Diskriminace starých lidí v oblasti sociální práce. Cílem této práce je zjistit výskyt reálné i možné diskriminace starých lidí v oblasti sociální práce a pokusit se nastínit možnou prevenci a následné řešení tohoto problému. Metoda, která je v práci využívána je syntéza zjištění z literatury týkající se reálné i možné diskriminace starých lidí v oblasti sociální práce. Analýza poznatků z odborné literatury je doplňovala o vlastní zkušenost z terénu práce se starými lidmi. Zkušenosti jsou získány ve zdravotnických a sociálních zařízení. Tato práce je dělena do tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola pojednává o základních pojmech, týkajících se stárnutí a stáří, diskriminace a sociální práce v obecném měřítku. Druhá kapitola pojednává o oblastech výskytu diskriminace na různých úrovních poskytování péče a služeb a obsahuje pojednání o obecných rizicích diskriminace lidí v rámci výkonu sociální práce, se zaměřením na zdroje diskriminace a syndrom EAN. Třetí kapitola pojednává o východiscích, prevenci a řešení diskriminace starých lidí v oblasti sociální práce.This thesis is devoted to the topic of Discrimination of elderly people in the field of social work.The aim of this study is to determine the real incidence and possible discrimination of elderly people in the field of social work as well as to come with some outline of possible prevention and subsequent solution to this problem. Method that was used for the purposes of this work is a synthesis of findings from the literature on real and potential discrimination of elderly people in the field of social work. Analysis of findings from the literature is complemented by own experience from field work with the elderly. The experience was acquired in health and social facilities. This thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter discusses the basic concepts related to aging and age, discrimination and social work generally. The second chapter is about the areas of the incidence of discrimination at different levels of care and services and includes a treatise on the general risks of discrimination of elderly people in the profession of social work, focusing on the sources of discrimination as well as EAN syndrome. The third chapter discusses the fundaments, prevention and addresses discrimination of elderly people in the field of social work.
