Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá životními osudy zhořeleckého městského písaře Johanna Frauenburga (1430?1495). Jeho aktivity nebyly omezeny striktně úředním způsobem (tj. převážně typickým vedením městských knih), neboť Frauenburg byl rovněž v 60. a 70. letech 15. století velmi aktivní jako diplomat svého města. Sepsal rovněž dvě díla deníkového charakteru a dva normativní prameny, zabývající se městskou správou. Ve Zhořelci nechal na různá místa umístit 14 nápisů s citáty antických autorů. Práce se snaží celou jeho osobnost charakterizovat právě skrze uvedené široké spektrum jeho aktivit.The presented diploma thesis is concerned in the life of the Görlitz's towns scibe Johann Frauenburg (1430?1495). His activities were not limited to the office work, but he was also a very agile diplomat. He wrote several pieces of literature builded as the diaries or prescriptive works for the use of the municipalities. In the city, he is commemorated as the author and benefactor of the graffiti placed on several houses, gates and towers of the city. The work tries to summarize his whole personality and characterize him through his wide range of activities.
