Diplomová práce se zabývá menšinami žijícími v současné době v České republice. Vychází z průzkumu vztahu studujících středních škol v Olomouckém kraji k jednotlivým národnostem v České republice. Výsledky ankety jsou hodnoceny z historického pohledu soužití těchto menšin s českou majoritou od nejstarších dob až do současnosti, s důrazem na nejvýznamnější menšiny (Němci, Židé, Romové, Rusové, Poláci a Vietnamci). Závěr práce je věnován možnostem multikulturní výchovy a výchově proti rasismu.Focus of the master thesis is on minorities living in the Czech Republic. It reflects the survey on the relation of secondary school students of the Olomouc Region towards particular nationalities in the Czech Republic. Outcomes of the survey are assessed from a historical perspective of the long-life co existence of these minorities with Czech majority. Emphasis is laid on the most important/known minorities such as Germans, Jews, Romanies community, Russians, Poles and Vietnamese. The master thesis further provides information about the multicultural education and its potential. It is concluded by an insight into educating young people about anti-racism
