Bakalářská diplomová práce je historickou případovou studií, která analyzuje příčiny a samotný proces ustanovení de facto autonomní oblasti iráckého Kurdistánu. Práce rovněž obsahuje ucelený a srozumitelný vhled do jednání irácké, potažmo kurdské společnosti a navrhuje faktory, které determinují kontinuitu fungování této oblasti jakožto de facto autonomní oblasti.Bachelor's thesis is a historical case study that analyzes the causes and process of establishing de facto autonomous region of Iraqi Kurdistan. The work also contains a complete and comprehensive insight into the conduct of Iraqi and Iraqi-Kurdish society, and hence suggests the factors that determine the continuity of the functioning of this area as a de facto autonomous region.
