Tato diplomová práce poskytuje základní vhled do problematiky budování české regionální politiky po roce 1989. Jako teoretický rámec práce je užít koncept evropeizace. Práce se zabývá tím, jak probíhala výstavba regionální politiky České republiky po roce 1989 a v jakém rozsahu byla ovlivněna přípravami na členství v Evropské unii. Dále se práce koncentruje na otázky, jak důsledně musela Česká republika v oblasti regionální politiky naplňovat požadavky Evropské unie a zda existují nějaké rozdíly mezi implementační strukturou vzniklou pro zkrácené programovací období 2004-2006 a implementační strukturou ustavenou pro programovací období 2007-2013. Odpovědi nalezené na tyto otázky jsou v závěru interpretovány v kontextu teorie evropeizace.This thesis provides the basic insight into the topic of emergence of Czech regional policy after 1989. The concept of Europeanization is used as the theoretical framework for the paper. The thesis deals with building of regional policy in Czech Republic after 1989 and with the issue of the influence of the preparation for membership in the European Union on it. The thesis is concentrated also on the questions about how rigorously Czech Republic had to perform the requirements of the European Union in the sphere of regional policy and whether there any differences between the implementation structure of the shortened programming period 2004-2006 and the implementation structure of the programming period 2007-2013 exist. Answers to these questions are interpreted in the context of the Europeanization theory as the part of conclusion.
