Práce se zabývá základními druhy rozhodnutí prezidenta republiky, náležitostmi jejich platnosti a jejich právními důsledky. V jednotlivých kapitolách je rozebráno postavení prezidenta jako hlavy státu a jednotlivá rozhodnutí, která činí s kontrasignací i bez kontrasignace předsedy vlády nebo jím pověřeného člena vlády. Při zpracovávání jednotlivých kapitol jsem se zabývala rovněž názory odborníků na danou problematiku a judikaturou soudů. Podrobně se zabývám rozhodovací pravomocí prezidenta ve vztahu k vládě i se zaměřením na praktický dopad jeho rozhodnutí při řešení vládních krizí. V práci je kladen důraz zejména na vliv, jaký prezident díky své rozhodovací pravomoci má na společenskou i politickou situaci v zemi.The paper deals with the basic types the president´s decisions, the modalities of their validity and their legal consequences. Individual chapters discuss the role of the President as the head of state and individual decisions made with or without countersignature by the Prime Minister or a designated member of the government. In each chapter, I also considered the views of experts on the particular issue and the jurisprudence of the courts. In the work there is a detailed description of the President's decision-making powers in relation to the government and focusing on the practical impact of his decisions in resolving the government crisis. In the work, the president's influence on the social and political situation in the country as a decision-maker is emphasized.
