Cílem diplomové práce bylo zmapovat problematiku smíšených partnerství osob slyšících a osob se sluchovým postižením. Teoretická část práce je věnována terminologickému vymezení pojmů sluchového postižení, klasifikaci poruch sluchu, způsobům komunikace a psychosociálním aspektům osob s poškozením sluchu. V souvislosti s tím je pozornost soustředěna na minoritu Neslyšících a její kulturu. Dále je pojednáno o výběru partnera, vývoji vztahu a základních aspektech manželského soužití. Důraz je kladen na specifika partnerství osob s handicapem. Prostor je také věnován uspořádání rodin se členy se sluchovým postižením. Výzkumná část prezentuje výsledky kvalitativního šetření, jehož cílem bylo zmapovat specifika smíšených partnerství osob slyšících a osob se sluchovým postižením. Šetření bylo realizováno u sedmi smíšených heterosexuálních párů.The aim of the thesis was to describe the problems of mixed partnerships involving hearing people and people with hearing disability. The theoretical part pays attention to the definition of terms concerning hearing impairment, the classification of hearing disabilities, the way of communication and the psycho-sociological aspects of hearing damage. In connection with this issue, attention is focused on the minority of Deaf people and their culture. This part also deals with the choice of a spouse, the development of a partnership and the basic aspects of married life. Stress is put on the specificities of partnerships including handicaped members. Attention is also paid on the organization within families with hearing impaired members. The research part presents the findings of the qualitative research, which aims at describing the specificities of hearing people and people with hearing disability. The investigation has been carried out with seven mixed heterosexual couples.
