Dysfagie je závažným symptomem vyskytující se hlavně u pacientů s neurologickou diagnózou. Představuje především riziko malnutrice a aspirace, která může vést k infekcím dolních cest dýchacích a pneumonii. Rehabilitace je pak jednou z cest, jak předejít těmto komplikacím. Cílem mé práce je poskytnout potřebný přehled o možnostech terapie poruch polykání a navrhnout tak optimální řešení dysfagie. Komplexní péče o pacienty s dysfagiemi se skládá z různých technik a terapií zaměřených na stimulaci a rehabilitaci orofaciální oblasti, zlepšení svalové výkonnosti i z kompenzačních strategií, které zahrnují změnu konzistence potravy, plynulosti a rychlosti příjmu potravy, modifikace objemu potravy, posturální změny či polykací manévry.Dysphagia is a significant symptom occuring mainly in patients with neurological diagnosis. It primarily represents a risk of malnutrition and aspiration, which could lead to infection of lower airways and pneumonia. Rehabilitation is one of the ways how we can prevent these complications. The aim of this thesis is to offer an useful summary about possibilities of therapy of deglution disorders and suggest optimal treatment of dysphagia. Complex rehabilitation of dysphagia consists of various technigues such as therapy focused on stimulation and rehabilitation of orofacial region, improvement of efficiacy of muscles and compensatory strategies, that include combination of dietary modification, change of amount and consistency of food, rate modification of deglutition, different swallowing techniques and positioning.
