Diplomová práce uvádí vztah k tématu Rozvoj grafomotoriky u žáků na 1. stupni základních škol. Z toho plyne, že práce je orientována zejména na problematiku psaní. Práce se především se týká grafomotorických uvolňovacích cviků. Neopomíjí ani úzké vazby spjaté s tímto tématem jako je vhodný výběr psacího náčiní a jeho správné držení, vhodné držení těla při psaní, zabývá se pomocí pro levoruké žáky či shrnuje grafomotorické uvolňovací cviky a grafické prvky, které by žáci postupem času měli zvládat.
