Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá postavením ženy v rodině v románech současné francouzské autorky Marie NDiaye. Rodinná situace hrdinek je analyzována na základě tří hlavních rolí, které ženy v prostředí rodiny zastávají. Jedná se o roli dcery, matky a manželky. Cílem práce je ukázat, jaké podoby mohou dané role nabýt v nefunkčním rodinném prostředí, do jaké míry se hrdinky podílejí na rozkladu rodiny a jakou úlohu sehrává rodina v životě současné ženy.Součástí práce je také zařazení autorky do kontextu současné francouzské literatury a představení hlavních charakteristik jejího prozaického díla jako celku.This thesis deals with the theme of family within the last three novels of Marie NDiaye (La Sorci?re, Rosie Carpe, Mon coeur ? l´étroit). It provides in particular a detailed analysis of three major roles of woman within the family: the role of daughter, the role of mother and the role of wife ? i.e. the protagonists of the studied novels. This analysis strives to show the worrying formes into which the above said roles may develop within the utterly unstable family universe. It seeks also to define the position of female characters within the family breakup process. In addition to a biographical presentation of Marie Ndiaye, she will be positioned within the context of contemporary french litterature ? with regard to her characteristic style and the evolution of her work.
