Práce zjišťuje informovanost žen v reprodukčním věku o prenatální péči v České republice. Šetření proběhlo v prenatálních poradnách Olomouckého a Zlínského kraje.Teoretická část se zabývá těhotenstvím, koncepcí prenatální péče, rolí porodní asistentky v prenatální péči. Obsahem praktické části je analýza rozsahu znalostí žen, které již těhotenství prodělaly a žen nyní těhotných. U obou sledovaných souborů analýzou dat bylo zjištěno nedostatečné povědomí o práci porodní asistentky v prenatální péči. Na základě zjištěných skutečností byl vypracován edukační materiál: S porodní asistentkou v prenatální poradně.This thesis is concerned with women of reproductive age and their knowledge of antenatal ceare. The research was implemented at prenatal clinics in Olomouc and Zlín region.The theoretical part of the thesis deals with pregnancy, the concept of antenatal care and the role of a midwife in antenatal care. The practical part analyses the knowledge of group of women who have already had babies as well as the knowledge of group of women who were pregnant at the time of the research.Insufficient knowledge of midwifes role in antenatal care was proved among women in both groups. Educational material At a prenatal clinic with a midwife based on the outcomes of the research was created.
