Diplomová práce na téma Laterna magika z hlediska technických proměn sleduje od vzniku tohoto specifického multimediálního divadla technické prostředky a postupy, které v průběhu padesátileté historie Laterny magiky formovaly její tvář. Práce postupuje chronologicky od vzniku Laterny magiky při příležitosti reprezentace Československa na Světové výstavě Expo 58 v Bruselu do současnosti a postupně mapuje hlavní inscenace, ve kterých se uplatnily nové scénické či technické postupy nebo nová technologie. Práce začíná detailním rozborem příčin a podmínek vzniku Laterny magiky a obsahuje i krátký exkurz do historie pronikání filmového média do divadla. Po shrnutí druhého období Laterny magiky, ve kterém docházelo převážně jen k přejímání postupů bruselské inscenace, následuje kapitola věnovaná televizní technice, která výrazně pozměnila charakter divadla v 80. letech. V dalším období sleduje počátky užívání počítačové techniky a její vliv na filmovou část inscenací. Práci zakončuje popis posledního vynálezu uplatněného v Laterně magice ? virtuálního plátna, a exkurz do současného divadla.The changes of technological aspects of the Magic Lantern is a diploma thesis describing the creation of the unique theatre using multimedia on its stage setting and tracing the development of technological means and procedures which formed its appearance during the period of the last 50 years. The thesis is divided into five chapters chronologically from the creation of the theatre on the occasion of the opportunity to represent the Czechoslovakia at the World exhibition Expo 58 in Brussels until today. It surveys successively main stage productions where new scenic and technical methods or technologies were used for the first time. First part contains a detailed analysis of the causes and conditions of Magic Lantern origins and includes a brief excursion into the history of cinematic procedures infiltrating to the theatre. Next part summarize second period of the Magic Lantern characterised by mostly exploiting only Brussels production´s principles. Television technology that dramatically influenced the character of the theatre in the 80th is described in the following part. Forth part includes the beginnings of computer use that also influenced the cinematic part of inscenation. The final part focuses on a virtual projection screen ? the latest invention applied in the Magic Lantern theatre. There is also a brief discursion to practice of magic lantern technology in contemporary theatre.
