Práce se zabývá expresivitou, prostředky jejího vyjadřování v jazyce i jejím využíváním v psaných žurnalistických materiálech. Seznamuje s formou, obsahem i funkcí titulků ve zpravodajství i publicistice. Praktickou část tvoří analýza titulků tištěného média, které jsou samostatnou přílohou práce. Jejich rozbor přináší informace o výskytu lexikální expresivity v titulcích v současnosti nejčtenějšího českého deníku.The thesis deals with expressivity, means of its expressing in the language, and its use in written journalistic materials. It introduces the form, content and function of headlines both in reporting and publicism. The practical part is made up of the analysis of headlines in printed media. The headlines themselves are a separate supplement of the thesis. Their interpretation brings information about the occurrance of lexical expressivity in the headlines of the currently most widely read Czech daily newspaper.
