Tělesná výchova je povinným předmětem na českých základních a středních školách, stejně tak jako v Nizozemsku. Ve své práci analyzuji systémové pojetí tělesné výchovy v Česku a v Nizozemsku a srovnávám pohybovou aktivitu českých a nizozemských studentů střední školy. Srovnání jsem provedla pomocí dotazníků na jedné české a jedné nizozemské střední škole podobného typu. Celkově se průzkumu zúčastnilo 913 studentů. Z výsledků vyplývá, že čeští studenti jsou pohybově aktivnější, než jejich nizozemští kolegové a že jak nizozemští, tak čeští studenti by uvítali tělesnou výchovu častěji, než tomu je dosud. I přes jiné koncepce pojetí jsou v českém i v nizozemském systému tělesné výchovy téměř totožné klíčové kompetence a velmi podobné cíle ? přivést studenty k celoživotní pohybové aktivitě.The physical education is a compulsory subject on the basic and high schools in the Czech Republic as well as in the Netherlands. In my thesis I analyse the systems concept of the PE in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, and I also compare the physical activity of the Czech and Dutch high-school students. I made the comparison on a high school in the Czech Republic and on a high school in the Netherlands using questionnaires as a research method. There are 913 students in total who were concerned in my research. From the results it appears that the Czech students are more physically active than the Dutch students and that both of the participating groups would like to follow the PE classes more often then they can now. Even there are different concepts of the physical education in both systems, are there nearly the same key competences and really close goals of the physical education ? to bring the students to the lifelong physical activity.
