Cílem bakalářské práce je vytvoření webového tutoriálu pro GeoMedia Professional v. 6.0, který je umístěný na serveru Katedry geoinformatiky Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci. Webový tutoriál je soubor zcela nových elektronických studijních materiálů, vytvořený pro výuku předmětu Programové prostředky GIS - GeoMedia Professional. Funkce a nástroje programu GeoMedia Professional jsou předvedeny na osmi ukázkových příkladech, které uživatele seznamují se základy práce se softwarem, tvorbou složitějších prostorových analýz a mapového výstupu. Všechny příklady jsou založeny na jednotné struktuře (úvod, teorie, zadání příkladu, potřebná data, postup řešení a závěr). Kapitola postup řešení obsahuje videonahrávky s komentovaným vypracováním zadaného příkladu. Videonahrávky jsou k dispozici ke stažení, stejně jako podrobná nápověda k příkladu ve formátu PDF. Tutoriál je primárně určen pro studenty Katedry geoinformatiky Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci, dále také pro studenty ostatních vysokých škol a pro všechny uživatele, kteří ovládají geografické informační systémy (GIS) a chtějí se naučit, či zdokonalit v práci s programem GeoMedia Professional. Součástí bakalářské práce je rešerše na téma Subjekty využívající technologie GeoMedia v ČR, ve které je představena společnost Intergraph Corporation a technologie GeoMedia.The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a web tutorial for GeoMedia Professional v. 6.0, an application which is hosted on a server of the Department of Geoinformatics, belonging to the Faculty of Science, at Palacky University in Olomouc. The web tutorial is a collection of the new electronic study media for the course: Programming Tools of GIS - GeoMedia Professional. The functions and tools of the program GeoMedia Professional are shown in eight sample exercises. They introduce the user to the basic functionality of the software, and onwards to the use of more sophisticated, advanced functions, such as complex analysis and map creation. All the exercises are based on a homogenous arrangement (introduction, theory, exercise task, required data, solution procedure and conclusion). One chapter of the exercises, contains a series of videos with detailed audio commentary and explanation of the particular exercise task. Videos are available to download, in addition to a detailed user guide in PDF format. The tutorial can be utilised by students of the Department of Geoinformatics, Palacky University in Olomouc, and also for students of other universities and ultimately all users, who are familiar with geographic information systems and want to learn or improve their work with the program GeoMedia Professional.
