Pedagogika Montessori je v současnosti přes 100 let stará. Studie se zabývá názory pedagogů, rodičů, i absolventů této metody vzdělávání na aktuálnost metody, převážně na aplikovatelnost metody v současnosti, na její úskalí, dále na to, jak se pedagogové přizpůsobují probíhajícím společenským změnám. Studie má podobu kvalitativního výzkumu, za použití metody rozhovoru blíže objasňuje, zda je potřebná zásadní revize pedagogiky, či zda jsou principy Montessori aplikovatelné i dnes.The Montessori Method is one of the alternative forms of education that is available as an alternative to the classical form of education in the Czech Republic. Actually, it is the second most frequently chosen option to the typical educational system. The research focuses on the method and its applicability in the present times according to the fact that it is over 100 years old and did not go through many changes over the years compared to an advanced technological progress that our society underwent. The study reveals how this alternative in education is effective according to the opinions of teachers, parents, and graduates of the method.
