Bakalářská diplomová práce zachycuje založení kaple a následně kostela Panny Marie hraběnkou Marií Maxmiliánou Evou Terezií Hýzrlovou na vrchu Chlumek u města Luže-Košumberk na konci 17. století a vznik poutního místa i jeho následný provoz pod jezuitskou správou ve století osmnáctém až téměř do roku 1773, kdy byl řád Tovaryšstva Ježíšova zrušen papežským breve, což pro českou provincii potvrdil císař Josef II. Práce se zaměřuje na jednotlivé činnosti spojené s provozem poutního místa v době barokní a podává ucelený přehled o rostoucím významu tohoto chrámu pro celou oblast východních Čech.The bachelor thesis deals with the beginning, foundation and functioning of place of pilgrimage on the hill Chlumek next to the town Luže-Košumberk. Moreover treat this bachelor thesis of the authority of the Society of Jesus in the habsburg monarchy, mostly in the Czech kingdom. The Society of Jesus was in the baroque period a religious order of men called Jesuits, who followed the teachings of the Catholic Church. Jesuits priest came in Luže-Košumberk in this time and took over the responsibility for administration and functioning the new place of pilgrimage.
