Tato práce je zmapováním historického vývoje ve Spojených státech amerických a Velké Británii. Tento výzkum je aplikován na stylu pořadu Na stojáka. Věnuje se nejen historii tohoto původního českého televizního pořadu, ale také jeho organizační struktuře, principu fungování, stylu nejvýraznějších protagonistů a především formu výstupů. Vymezuje podobnost a návaznost výstupů z Na stojáka v kontextu s výstupy divadel malých forem.This work want to describe the history of the stand-up comedy in United states of America and in Great Britain and this research apply to the style of the czech stand-up comedy TV show Na stojáka. This research contents the history, style, principes of working, organisation and the style of performance. The point of the work is compare the style of stand-up comedy in czech and the style of theatres of the small forms.
