Práce se zabývá dvojí transformací televizního fenoménu M*A*S*H. Náplní první části je zkoumání transformace filmové adaptace v seriál na základě stavby narativu, použitých motivů, společných hlavních hrdinů, analýzy humoru a jejich konkrétní realizace v obou případech. Později se přesouvá k samotnému seriálu. Jeho základním žánrovým vymezením je hybridní komedie, práce ji proto rozebírá za pomocí hlavních žánrů a jejich společných prvků. Poslední část práce popisuje transformaci emocionální struktury směrem od humoru k melodramatu.The thesis is applying to double transformation of television phenomenon M*A*S*H. The first part is analysing the transformation of original film in the television series based on categories labeled construction of narrative, themes, main characters, humor analysis and its particular implementation at both cases. Afterwards it is shifting into television series itself. Its fundamental genre definition is hybrid comedy, so the thesis is analysing it with the help of main genres and their mutual elements. The last part of the thesis is describing the transformation of emotional structure of the series from comedy to melodrama
