Práca sa zameriava na rozdiely frekvecie používania francúzskych výpožičiek v belgických a holandských novinách. Prvá časť je venovaná stručnej histórii oboch štátov, popisuje tie udalosti, ktoré prispeli k prílevu francúzskych slov do holančiny. Vysvetľuje tým i vzniknuté rozdiely medzi flámskou a štandardnou variantou jazyka. V druhej časti je podrobne rozpracovaná problematika výpožičiek.Nasleduje samotný výskum ? tretia časť uvádza konkrétne hodnoty a porovnania frekvencie francúzskych slov vo flámskych denníkoch De Standaard a Het Belang van Limburg a holanských De Volkskrant a Limburgs Dagblad. Plynule prechádza do štvrtej časti, kde čitatelia a redakcie pomocou ankety vyjadrujú svoje stanovisko k používaniu cudzích slov v ich jazyku (pochádzajúcich najmä v francúzštiny).This work describes the different frequence of French loanwords in Belgian and Dutch newspapers. The first part is a short historical vieuw. It shows the events which contributed to French loanwords-supply into the Dutch. It explains the differences between Flemish and standard Dutch. The second part develops in detail the question of loanwords. It is followed by my own research ? the third part compares the concrete numbers of the French loanwords in the Flemish newspapers (De Standaard and Het Belang van Limburg) and the Dutch newspapers (De Volkskrant and Limburgs Dagblad). The fourth part is based on a questionnaire. The readers and editors explain their point of vieuw to usage of foreign words in their language (the French words particularly).
