Diplomová práce se zabývá nejprve teoretickým ukotvením pojmu konkurenceschopnost a v širším kontextu pak jeho aplikací na specifické podmínky absolventa vysoké školy při vstupu na pracovní trh. Významné místo je v této části věnováno i pohledu poptávkové strany na trhu práce - zaměstnavatelům. Praktická část práce je zcela zaměřena na analýzu konkurenceschopnosti absolventů oboru rekreologie FTK UP z let 2006 a 2007 během prvního roku po jejich absolutoriu a identifikaci jejich pracovního uplatnění v tomto období.The first part of this thesis focuses on theoretical introduction of the term ``competitiveness`` and the possibility of the usage of the term in wider context as well as its application to the specific conditions of a graduate when entering to the job market. Certain attention is also paid to the demand point of view - to the employers. The practical part is entirely focused on analysis of competitiveness of FTK UP recreology graduates from years 2006 and 2007 within one year after their graduation and the identification of their fulfilment in the period mentioned.
