Diplomová práce pojednává o specifických rysech pastorace neslyšících v katolické církvi a o jejím současném stavu v České republice. První kapitola slouží k uvedení do problematiky sluchového postižení. V její druhé části se pak ukazuje historická souvislost mezi vzděláváním a pastorací neslyšících jak v Evropě tak v Čechách a na Moravě. Druhá kapitola se věnuje nejdůležitějším otázkám této práce. Zabývá se ústředními tématy pastorace neslyšících, jak je předkládá prof. Marcel Broesterhuizen: a) Neslyšící lidé na okraji ?slyšící církve?; b) hluchota: postižení, nebo pozitivní způsob odlišení?; c) role Neslyšících laiků v budování církve jako společenství; d) znakový jazyk jako jazyk náboženský; e) Hluchota jako kontext, v němž dochází k rozvoji víry a k teologické reflexi. Poslední kapitola prezentuje současnou podobu pastorace neslyšících v České republice a pokouší se načrtnout možný postup při vytváření pastorační služby neslyšícím v naší zemi.The thesis deals with the specific aspects of the pastoral ministry amongst Deaf in the Catholic Church and with its contemporary state in the Czech Republic. The first chapter serves as an introduction to the problems of the hearing impairments. In its second part it shows the historical connection between the education of the deaf and the pastoral care for the deaf both in Europe and in Bohemia and Moravia. The second chapter concerns the major issues of the thesis. It deals with the central issues of Deaf pastoral ministry as proposed by professor Marcel Broesterhuizen: a) Deaf people?s outsider position in the ?hearing church?, b) Deafness: disability or positive way of being different, c) the role of Deaf lay persons in building up the Church as a community, d) Sign Language as a religious language, e) Deafhood as a context for faith development and theological reflection. The last chapter treats the current shape of the pastoral care with the Deaf in the Czech Republic. It tries to draft a possible procedure of forming Deaf pastoral ministry in this country.
