Diplomová práce Archeologický informační systém Olomouce vznikla s cílem vytvořit pomocí geografických informačních technologií jednotný ucelený systém, který archeologům (olomouckých organizací) umožní sdílet informace o archeologických lokalitách na území města Olomouce a některých přilehlých obcí. Dílčí úkoly práce sestávaly ze seznámení s problematikou využití GIS v archeologii a problematikou tvorby informačního systému, vytvoření návrhu struktury databáze, její realizace a naplnění daty, tvorby mapového serveru, jako uživatelského rozhraní pro práci s daty, zajištění základní uživatelské funkcionality a následně spuštění a testování aplikace u zadavatele.This diploma work called Archeological Information System of Olomouc City was focused on a creation of an integrated system using geographic information technologies. The system provides sharing information about archaeological sites in the city of Olomouc and some neighbouring villages for archaeologists (the Olomouc organizations). Subtasks work consisted of literature search of the problems of GIS in Archaeology and the problems of creating an information system, a concept database structure, its implementation and fulfillment of data, creation of a map server, a user interface for working with data, providing basic user functionality and then start testing and Application for submitter.
