Politické strany jsou nepostradatelnou součástí zastupitelské formy demokracie. Ty ke své činnosti potřebují finanční prostředky. Tato práce ?Financování a hospodaření politických stran? se zaměřuje především na současnou právní úpravu politických stran a stručně rozebírá klíčová rozhodnutí Ústavního soudu a Nejvyššího správního soudu týkající se tématu. V první části se zabývá samotným pojmem politické strany, stručným vývojem financování politických stran a základními cíli a principy. Ve druhé části pak popisuje formy státního financování, jak přímé, tak nepřímé. Tedy finanční prostředky, které stranám plynou ze státního rozpočtu. A soukromého financování, sem patří dary a dědictví, členské příspěvky a příjmy z hospodářské činnosti stran. V této části práce je také popsán systém kontroly financování a hospodaření politických stran. V poslední části se práce stručně zabývá právní úpravou financování ve Velké Británii a na Slovensku.Political parties are an essential part of a representative democracy. Political parties need financial means to existence. This thesis ?Financing and management of political parties? deals especially with the current legal regulation and briefly analyses key judgments of the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Administrative Court related to subject of this thesis. In the first part deals with the conception of political party itself, with short historical development and with basic goals and principles of the political parties financing. In the second part describes forms of state funding, both direct and indirect. This means the financial means from state budget. And then it describes private funding, this involve donations and heritage, members contributions and other incomes. In this part of thesis is also described the control system of political financing. In the last part the thesis briefly deals with legal regulation of political financing in Great Britain and Slovak Republic.
