Práce je věnována tématu alternativní a augmentativní komunikace (AAK), zaměřené na uživatele sociálních služeb pobývajících v domovech pro osoby se zdravotním postižením (DOZP). V úvodní kapitole teoretické části jsou terminologická vymezení. Práce obsahuje i kapitolu zabývající se AAK, tj. výhody a nevýhody, dělení systémů a také charakteristiku nejznámějších systémů jako jsou piktogramy, znak do řeči, VOKS, makaton, bliss a také technické pomůcky. Třetí kapitola je věnována sociálním službám. Jejím obsahem je stručná historie ústavní péče, současný stav právní úpravy sociálních služeb a také nesmí chybět vymezení domovů pro osoby se zdravotním postižením, jejich uživatelé systémy AAK používají. Praktická část je věnována kvalitativnímu výzkumu, jehož obsahem je analýza dotazníkového šetření a interpretace rozhovoru s pracovníky vybraných DOZP.Essay is devoted to the topic of alternative and augmentative communication (AAK), aimed at users of social services, residents in homes for people with disabilities (DOZP).
