Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na postavení seniorů ve společnosti. V teoretické části se zabývá vymezením pojmu senior, stáří, stárnutí, komplexními službami pro seniory a kriminalitou páchanou na seniorech, zejména týráním a zanedbáváním. Nabízí možnosti řešení a seznamuje s organizací Bílý kruh bezpečí. Praktická část obsahuje dotazníkový průzkum, který zjištoval znalosti seniorů o týrání a zanedbávání.The thesis is focused on the status of seniors in society. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the term senior, old age, comprehensive services for the elderly and crime committed against seniors, especially abuse and neglect. It offers possible solutions and introduces the White Circle of Safety. The practical part includes a questionnaire survey to record the knowledge of senior abuse and neglect.
