Práce se zabývá multikulturalismem v Nizozemsku v užším i širším kontextu. Je analyzována současná problematika nizozemské menšinové a azylové politiky. Stav soužití současného nizozemského autochtonního a alochtonního obyvatelstva je podroben kritice. Je popisována problematika vztahu autochtonního nizozemského obyvatelstva k islámskému kulturnímu okruhu. V práci jsou popsány konkrétní příklady projevů nesnášenlivosti s náboženským podtextem, které se během posledních let v Nizozemsku udály. Kritiky nezůstává ušetřena ani samotná politika nizozemského multikulturalismu.The thesis deals with multiculturalism in the Netherlands in consideration of its necessary context. The contemporary problems of Netherlands' policy on minorities and asylum granting are analyzed. The current coexistence of autochthonous and allochthonous population of the Netherlands is criticized. Especially the problems concerning the relationship between autochthonous population of the Netherlands and allochthonous Moslems are described. The thesis presents various examples of events demonstrating intolerance with religious implications that arose during the past few years in the Netherlands. Owing to those facts the whole policy of multiculturalism is criticized.
